Roman Villa

The Roman Villa in Lasithi is one of the region’s most fascinating archaeological monuments. Located near Makrys Gialos, it reveals the presence of the Roman Empire in Crete. Dating from the 1st–2nd centuries AD, it has been excavated with respect for archaeological procedures, uncovering interesting finds such as mosaics and frescoes.
